** Dad decided to make his famous spaghetti sauce. This is a big deal. Dad’s spaghetti sauce cooks all day and I have been known to eat 3 heaping plates of it (teenage years).
He added secret ingredients this time. Let’s just say he’s a dairyman, if that’s a clue. Secret ingredients or not, this sauce is a Farris tradition, a having-company-over-staple, and one of my all time favorites.

spaghetti is so comforting.
hey, was at bo-lings on quivira the other day,
and saw that they offered “springfield cashew chicken” —
have you tried this and is it close to home?
i had something else knowing you had to clear it for all of us first. 🙂
no! i had no idea they were making it…
this means a little taste test is in order.
thank you for the heads up.
perhaps we should make it an official trip together!
yummy yummy in my tummy!
How fun….a family sphagetti dinner. I have to share with you, my partner Mell and I love Pizza Shoppe pizza…and their pink salad dresssing. We often say….”let’s go to Pizza Shoppe and get us a gloppy salad!”.
What is that pink stuff made out of anyway? :> It use to be called My Lady’s salad (I don’t know if it still is or not), but that’s how I always order it.
“One My Lady’s Salad no bacon or peperoni please.”
